Tips on Pitching Collaborative and Sponsored Posts

My second installment in my series of videos on blogging tips is an updated version of my own post on Tips for Pitching Sponsored Travel Posts, which you can read here. While I feel I made some good points in the original article, this vlog goes into further detail on elements of pitching such as creating a Media Kit, getting started and online tools for bloggers to utilize to seek out collaborative or sponsored opportunities.

Like I say at the end of the video, if you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to leave a comment on YouTube or here on WordPress and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible with as informative an answer as possible. Thanks again to everybody for the ongoing support with the launch of this channel and the videos I’ve created so far.

  1. Hi – I’ve followed you for awhile and am now tuning in to how to do more with my blog. I have watched your videos and have a couple of questions. Is your blog part of a WordPress website or are they one and the same? On Facebook – I assume that is a business page you have and not a personal site. Since WordPress changed the auto-upload I’ve been considering setting one up. Can you clarify? Thanks so much – Karen

    1. Part of WordPress, yes. I pay for the business version purely for the image storage (with the free version image upload is limited). I have a business page and have connected it to my site so that posts automatically upload to my FB Page when I post.. I think it’s in the ‘sharing’ tab. Hope that helps!

      1. Thanks. To make sure I understand: So you have done a WordPress blog site upgrade? And use a FB business page, instead of one of the regular personal pages?
