With so many options out there, it can be hard to find a reliable website to find and book great flight deals consistently. Everybody knows that nowadays, booking flights online is far cheaper than doing so through a travel agent, but finding a reliable and trustworthy site to do so on can sometimes prove to be a challenge.

When I first came across Dollar Flight Club on Instagram, their concept of sending cheap flights directly into your inbox really appealed to me. Their name is pretty self explanatory, but Jesse and his team have developed a thriving business out of making the globetrotter’s life easier. They scour the internet all day, every day, searching for cheap and discounted flights tailored to each clients local airports, flying class and desired destinations. Just this past week they’ve found subscribers flights to Vietnam, Mexico, Denmark, Columbia and Tokyo for less than $400 roundtrip.

When I interviewed him for this post I discovered that Jesse has lived in South Africa and all over the United States. His first flight was between Cape Town, South Africa and New York City. His obsession with finding cheap flights started when he flew from NYC to Stockholm for around $200 roundtrip in 2014 and he’s always excited to help any of his subscribers out with a trip.

There are three tiers of subscriptions, all of which are offered for a one-month offer of $1. This screenshot from their website explains the benefits of each of these tiers:

  1. The Avid Explorer: The median and most popular of the three, this package offers a ton of advantages over searching for flights on your own. With instant text as well as email alerts, you’ll have priority over those on the Globe Trotter programme as well as being entered into the annual free flight giveaway and be sent alerts on how to make your air miles take you the furthest.
  2. The Master Wanderer: With priority alters over the other two package holders, you’ll have first dibs on the cheapest economy, business and first class seats available from your local airport to your top five destinations around the globe. In addition, you’ll be able to specify when you want to travel to heighten your chances of finding a deal that suits your schedule.

Instead of spending hours trawling the internet searching for flights, why not head over to and sign up for one of their packages? So far they’ve saved their subscribers over $100,000 in flight prices and that total is growing every day. Take advantage of their $1 offer to try out any of the three plans for the first month and make sure to give them a follow on Instagram and Twitter for discount and promotional codes.

Although this post is sponsored, I myself am a member of the Dollar Flight Club at the Globetrotter tier. Like I’ve said so many times before in writing reviews for everything from hotels to restaurants, I love sharing things that come in handy for me and hopefully my readers as well.

  1. Sounds interesting! Just got done with a month of very heavy travel. May try this out when the savings account fattens up again! The “problem” with sites like this is that you need to be flexible and ready to book the moment a flight alert comes in. I put problem in quotes since it’s not really a problem, just something to keep in mind when spontaneously planning a trip (is that oxymoron there?)

    1. I have to say I disagree with you there; I almost always book through third parties and I’ve always had my issues resolved without much hassle.
