      1. I thought it was great, I visited many cities in Italy along the way as I traveled south. It’s a poor region and there were many dilapidated buildings but the ivy growing out of windows and cracked stone and paint added to its charm I think. Pizza was to die for and the markets along narrow cobbled lanes was brilliant. The place was alive and so very Italian! My only negative is the graffiti (Vandalism really and just tags) ruining historic pieces such as the many old aristocratic doorways and stone family crests – a shame really …
